[this top has been worn pretty much lately, it is one of the comfiest I had. so thin and cozy, purfect for Medan's crazily scorching sun lately. shorts' been dangling in my closet for quite some time, almost forgot that I had one. red wedges is too add a lil more 'bold' touch to this outfit, not to mention I can walk for hours in these.]

It feels like I have not blogged for forever! simply abandoning this blog right after CNY, well sorry for the absence.

Lemme flashback to a couple months ago.

I was having my best time of my whole life, literally, that my childhood dream finally came true.

It was in the month of February where I couldn't get any more grateful.

It was that one life-changing event you will figure out by my upcoming posts throughout this year.(I am not telling directly but you readers will certainly know it later:b)

Back to my usual school-life, I have been spending a lot of great times with my friends, one of the best is when I cried for my birthday last month.

My best buds are the best, really.

I was all sad because I might not be able to celebrate birthday next year with them, and that I was so grateful I had them.

Actually they gave a small surprise which included cake from my all time fave patisserie, La Maison.

It was really great to feel that you were loved.

They wrote some letters because I asked so, and I was surprised.

The letters they wrote to me were so sincere that I cried(again) when I read it at home.

I am currently learning how to be a better person in every way, how to improve my characteristic and so.

Well, I am awaken by what the priest said few weeks ago and I am very thankful now.:)

Have been slacking off in my studies, and I am now ready to get back to the track.

About my weight and diet, It had gone crazy.

Been munching sate padang whenever I see any, it is too good I am sure I gonna miss it.

Trying my best not to eat snacks and adding extra efforts in dancing, well let's all hope I am not gaining any more weight.

I am all relaxed because I dont really care about losing weight anymore, I just wanted to be healthier and that's all.

discovered a great bible verse which describes how I have been feeling recently, here's for all of you to read:)

[bought this t-shirt half years ago and I just have the chance to do proper outfit shot last week. well it kinda sounds pathetic lol. anyway, it's my current fav clothing! actually, it writes 'blonds vs brunettes' but i decided to do a knot just to add a lil twist and it cant be seen here so, yeah. paired it with this rad maroon, a lil bit to the burgundy pallete, jegging which really gave that little jagger kinda pump. sneakers has always been versatile so no fuss needed! ]

it is almost lunar new year! whoa time flies and i am freaking out(as always). the lunar new year spirits are starting to vibe in everywhere; traffics everywhere, parcels sent, towers of mandarin oranges shining on every house's table, and of course, red packets all filled up! it excites me a lottt. well, who doesnt get excited anyway?

one of the thing i love most about the lunar new year is polishing nails! i love love love experimenting colours and textures to my nails. although at most times i screw up and end up polishing my nails all over again, i still prefer doing it all by myself than going to the nail saloon. more challenging and a lot cheaper! lol. i'll post the nails if it turns out good but if it fails then.. my nails will just be nude on the lunar new year.

to be honest, i havent decided what to wear on the first day of lunar new year. just as we all know, the first day is the most important. still stuck in confusion, ugh. however, i managed to shot another outfit shot which potentially will be worn during the lunar new year. stay tune, cause the big lunar new year eve's dinner is just a day to go sooo, i might be posting some chinese delicacies here. if i do not have time i might only share it on my instagram. well it is much more practical, i have to say. check my daily feeds for more photosss(well at most times i post my selfie so.. you make the choice to check it or not lol)

ah, rants(again)

(currently craving for a pack of jagabee but i am sorry for my tummy so no, not eating)

i am feeling a lil bit restless i decided to blog. it is always this that stops me from being inactive in blogging. blogging for me is kind of a way to express myself, of what im currently thinking and sharing it all to the world. i live sharing my expreiences and stories to everyone! 

tomorrow im having a chemistry class test and hell i do mot know why i just cant concentrate. not to mention the untouch pile of math sheets i dont even wanna stare at. weekend has been making me so sluggish lately, i dont know why. ugh kill me now. i am actually reviewing my textbook but it is too boring my dear. too boring. not that i dislike chemistry, but the will to study it seriously  is lost rnow. 

anyway, since my older sister is in town now, i am able to do some outfit shots but most of the shots do not turn out good. i find it kinda difficult to let the outfit itself shines, but im learning fast so as soon as i find the shots good im going to post it. well just wait for it kay!

HAPPYY BELATED NEW YEAR READERS! 

hopefully in this new year i'll be able to post more and to catch more of the world's attention(my blog must be getting more and more fabulous for this to happen lol). and also, thankyou to all of you readers who stick to reading my rants and complaints of my oh-not-too-cool-daily-life, i love you all. just keep reading and loving ma blog lol. 

i never want to bore you out with my endless talks, so pictures above are all taken months ago, and i had managed to shoot an outfit shoot recently so behold! and it is close to lunar new year which means. . . red packets and more outfit pictures! yeayy double yeays! 

in case you are wondering, i am blogging irregularly now because i had decided to do better in my academic life, and to get better grades(this is so going to happen, believe me.) this is because i never felt that i did good enough. i guess you can understand teehee.

And I have something kinda sad to tell, the volcano located near Medan, Sinabung, is showing strong behaviour of erupting. pretty scary, because all those volcanic dust is everywhere, on the leaves, cars, and on road. I am quite sure that we are not going to be much affected by the volcanoes remembering the distance is fairly far, but still there's a lil bit of worries. hopefully the people who live near there are safe.:)

Dear readers,

I promised to post about food but because of some random circumstances i got no time to blog, so i go like why not just put everything together in a post? i bet you dont mind.
sooooooo, above are some of the foods i loved most from paradise dynasty. it's a well known restaurant, so give it a try whenever you come accross it, as it is not only found in Singapore. a little note for you, it is holy crowded during weekend so be prepared to wait for 30-45mins, depending on how lucky you are teeheee.

Moving on, I am so sorry that i am sluggish(idk what word is suitable here but wtv...) in blogging recently, even i missed out the special post about christmas. so, here i would like to wish every readers a belated christmas! i hope all of you had wonderful time with your family and friends! 

the pictures after the food  are christmas decos i found very cute and adorable.

i do not have any christmas decos here in my house, and i am thinking of buying a mini christmas tree next year, the one i can put on the corner of my room, just to add a little christmas-y feeling. everyone definitely loves a lil bit of christmas tree sparkle!

there are christmas decos from this amazing beautiful kitchenware store named crate and barrel. the varieties of christmas tree ornaments are all so lovely! especially the stuffed deers i personally like most.

it's a bit late at night now and i am here blogging. actually i should be revising again and again for tomorrow's finals. it started today and we had physics. it was yeah not that good, i suppose?

well screw that cause what happened had happened. the reason why i am not revising again is that i am sick of reading all those things about markets and job opprtunities. it's not that i dislike economics, but you know it when you are sick of reading the same thing since noon. 

well let's just pray for me to be all prepared for tomorrow's brainstorming with the ugh-there's-two-options-that's-convincing-what-to-choose questions. it has always been that way for economics. birdies on ma head all i know is that i want my holiday like damn. well, who doesnt? 

another thing is, i am having my final ballet competition this sunday. im going to tell you honestly, i am quite sure i wont be taking any trophies home. like zero possibility. in order to memorize all the syllables is tiring enough, i dont even have a vague idea on how i can win it. but im still weirdly excited, cause i just love participating in any kinds of competition. you know, just to challenge myself.

i think i ran out of rants, so im going to tell you a bit anout the upcoming post. it is going to be the mouth watering post, so behold!

It is December dudeeeeeeeee. ohmy time truly flies. I only posted 2 posts in November, and that's the reason why I am having that 'urge'(no other words pop up in my mind so. . .) to blog.

It had been almost 3 weeks since I got home from my short-5-day-getaway but i am missing it. very much. the things i love love love from getaway is that I do not have to worry abt homework, assignments, or even bother waking up early in the morning.

as I regularly visit singapore, I think that I won't seem so weird if I share some favourite restaurants there, will i?

screw that i am going to post about the foods later teeheeee.

although had so much good food, i still went to the gym for a day. okay a day out of five was sucha shame but at least i went there and did some pilates. still having that same paranoid feeling whenever i am about to step on the scale, so i haven't weighed yet.

More excitements are, this year, my school's year end holiday starts faster by about 5 days than the past years. it still sucks cause all other schools are alrd giving their students at least 1-2 weeks prior to ours. anyway, sooner or later, i will be having my favourite year end holiday. this year is kinda different as i dont think i am going anywhere but idk why i just can't wait for it to start. maybe all students have had enough of dreadful hours at school? maybe.

It's that time of the week again! 

For this look, it is actually an unplanned outfit shoot, so yeah I was rushed and looking at my clothes hanger and found the daisies top I used for a quick hang out with my pals the days before.

remembered that this old long pants which has been in mom's closet for years and never worn it even once,I decided to take it to the tailor to get it cut as shorts. so yeah i just wanna try using it and it's very comfy. very suitable for daily use.

okay, this definitely wont win any awards for best dressed or anything, but this is a kind of outfit you're going to wear almost every saturday to take a quick walk outside. whe oversize jacket just add that lazy kind of feeling.

to be honest, this outfit post ain't something everyone would love, even when i saw the pictures result i wasnt happy at all. but the more i look, the more i understand that it is actually good wearing it for a walk, so maybe you can got it too, huh?

anyway, this is my first outfit post which were shot using my dslr and edited using photoshop. yes darling, i now know how to use photoshop. and this is very cool and i felt so proud. ahaaa. 

still showering you with excitement of mine, the count down is left to only a week. yes, a weeeeeeeeeek.

Dear readers,

hey it's me again! i'm blogging a little off the track, as i last blog on friday and today is saturday. yesterday, was hectic, so i thought that it would be better if i blog later when everything is good. just woke up from a long lost deep nap, and i felt so good!fresh and ready for anything! *okay, i am exaggerating now teehee*

More about this look, i had planned to wear this versatile flowery dress months ago, but as this piece is something us three sister share, i have only get this chance by now. flowery dress is definitely a wardrobe must have, it is very easy to match it up with anything. in this look, i prefer wearing it more typical-cozy-day kinda feeling, as if i am going to a family picnic. i know this is so not fall/winter, but i am very eager to wear it as soon as mom brings it home.about the chic black heels, it is a very basic thing i believe every girl has. it is actually mom's, but why not borrow it for a quick shoot?

there's also this crazily painful thing when doing this shoot, as the heels is mom's, the size of it didn't match me. barely managed to put my feet in. squeeze them in in order to fit. no worries, my feet are all okay.

a good thing to tell you, since dslr memory has been brought back, i now have loads of pictures from eldest sister's commencement back in July so, behold. next post is going to be about that woot. 

i also have some news to share, i now sell this favourite home food of mine - japanese curry sushi roll. i know jap curry didn't originally eaten by the purpose of sushi roll, but that's invention, no? so first week of selling this stuffs had passed. a bit tiring, but hey i was so happy! so if you readers wanted to try out this saliva dropping food, do not hesitate to ask me! currently the sells of this sushi roll are only available for those who goes to the same school as me, or that you and i have tuition in common. you can contact me through line(marettasimon) or bbm(239dbf3d) for more info and price.

despite all those good news mentioned, i am also having a bit of nerve for tomorrow. im going to have my ballet competition again! yes, my tuition held it every month to make sure we students are fully ready for the upcoming royal examination in March. but this time, my batch friends and me are kind of ready, as the number of syllabuses preformed will be only 6. hoping tomorrow will be a nice day.

Dear readers,

t g i f! just finished my monthly exam like 2 hours ago and i can't help but to blog right away. you know that i haven't been blogging any outfit post for 2 week-ish, and i just can't stand it. checked my overall posts on my blog and the result was miserable. i only managed to write about 4 to 5 posts every month! i just hope i can blog regularly and pour out all my activities and stuffs happening daily(everyone has their own little story, right?)

So, about his look, it truly reminds me about those breezy days when i must always bring along my cardie in order to still feel comfortable. anyway, it is a look which suits the autumn i guess, although with the deer tribal prints looking a little more to winter, the plaid skirt is still a very strong signature of fall.

it is really comfortable to walk in these wedge too, especially when you are wearing stocking or socks with it, i can guarantee you that you won't have any problems walking in it for hours as long as you do not run.

i also have a very good news to tell, which is, received a few stocks of clothes mom bought, and also a pair of skinny i had requested. will be posting those new outfits soonnnnn.

the other good news is, i am very happy that i still fit in size 36 or 4 for a pair of jeans. lose 5kgs and still counting! hopefully i am even more determined and that the target of losing 10kgs can be realised within this year. amen.

heyy! it's been a very unproductive week in blogging and also snapping photos for the blog, as we are going to have our second monthly exam in no time - monday. and the result is, since i've promised to myself i'll do even better academically, i was so busy going to tuitions and polishing every school projects plus i am very confused what to choose in photo taking so yeah.

to tell you the pathetic fact, i got no idea how to upload it to my blog. okay i tried browsing and all those FAQs were read and i still got no slight hope of how to compress the video to a smaler file. the size of it is 312 mb, and it's beyond the blogger's amount of video size which is only 100mb. i am so sorry like i tried so many times i got frustrated. will be asking my friends after the 2nd monthly exam this monday and hopefully i can blog the videooo:<
